GORDON Brown has finally proved what a total waste of space he and his expenses-grabbing, holiday-
taking cronies are.
Darling’s Budget has revealed just what an utter mess this Government and Labour have made of our once great country.
St George may have killed the dragon, but this bunch of losers have managed to kill the British way of life stone dead.
The Prime Minister and his lapdog Chancellor want us to think they are coming over all Robin Hood by taking from the rich and giving to the poor. Rubbish.
The super rich will simply dodge the new 50% tax rate and the number of Brits who do earn over £150,000 a year is so tiny – just 1% of the working population – that their increased con-tribution will mean next to nothing.
Well, nothing when you consider that our national debt is approaching an eyewatering £1.2trillion – £16,700 for every man, woman and child in this country.
No other single country in the world is in a position as bad as the UK.
We have the biggest budget deficit of any major economy.
This isn’t a global problem, it’s a Blair and Brown problem. Because they are the ones who allowed this unholy mess to drag us all into the mire.
They have overseen the fastest increase in unemployment in our history, the worst recession since the Second World War and the worst peacetime public finances ever.
The reality is that this Budget is an attack on every single one of us. The ordinary working man and woman can’t even escape into a quick pint, a relaxing ciggie or a game of bingo. Because Brown has hammered those too.
Meanwhile the grasping public sector, shambles of a benefits system and the fact that immigrants are still flooding in to milk the taxpayer are ignored.
We didn’t need a Budget yesterday we needed an election. And for once it would have been a pleasure to see the swelling ranks of the unemployed joined by these Labour losers.
