SNAKESKIN ALLOYS MAKE A STATEMENT

ABOVE: Snakeskin alloys from Barracuda Wheels
12th March 2010

OF all the exotica on display at last week’s Geneva Motor Show I spotted The Big One.

It’s the one no poser could possibly ignore. It’s snakeskin alloys, the ideal wheels for someone as quiet and modest as football star and Beeb pundit Robbie Savage.

These magnificent wheels were tucked away in Hall 7, full of car accessories and far from the main car displays.

They’re made by Swiss wheels and suspension specialists Barracuda and needless to say they’re not cheap.

In fact, a set of 18in alloys with nine-inch rims could set you back around £400 each, depending on the rate of exchange.
